Sydney band The Knowns spent the COVID-19 lockdown writing
and recording over 40 original songs with lyrics taken from the plays
and poetry of William Shakespeare. The project is being published as
four separate albums over 2021.

To Be or Not to Be is from The Knowns’ second album HARK, available on Bandcamp
and Spotify.

Featuring a text-based representation of the song enhanced with archival excerpts
of jitterbug training videos from 1950s television segueing into abstract transitions
of cloud photography, the video reflects the bleak existential deliberations
of the Danish prince.
